Texas Health and Science University is pleased to announce a new partnership agreement with Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which will provide the opportunity for both schools to exchange research and instruction as well as professors and students. The Yunnan delegation included Dr. Xiong Lei, vice-president for academic affairs, and Dr. Qian Zigang, Head of Teaching and Research Division at the university. They toured THSU’s facilities, visited the student intern clinic, and met with our faculty and staff. In addition, the delegates were presented with an Honorary Citizen Certificate signed by the mayor of Austin, Lee Leffingwell, in acknowledgement that Texas and Yunnan share a sister-state relationship. Now, Texas Health and Science University and Yunnan University of TCM also share the honor of being sister schools. See more…
